On our hunt for a baby high chair for lil' Lucas, the sales lady at the shop recommended this to us. Besides being just a high chair for feeding times, it doubles up as a rocker (effectively replacing the 'yao lan'); its wheels makes it highly mobile so that mummy can keep an eye on the lil' one as she works around the house; and best of all, the seat can recline so that it serves as a 'day bed' of sorts for the lil one.
The only downside - the price. At a whopping high end of S$200, it is definitely pricier than most baby high chairs which just cost a two-figure sum. However, the other way to look at it is, it's an investment that effectively replaces a few gadgets (a high chair, a 'yao lan', a play pen, etc.) and can last baby for 4 years, so the investment cost per year is actually reasonable. At least that's what my friend and Pi told me. Hmmm, sounds convincing, but I still needed just a wee bit more convincing before forking out this sum of money.
Today... ta-da!... I actually saw it on sale at the Isetan Private Sale! Imagine my glee when I checked and was informed by the sales guy that yes, it was going at a 15% discount - and just for one day only as a special privilege for Isetan cardmembers. Of course I made a grab for it, and now, lil' Lucas can sit on his princely throne of a forest blue Combi Rashule. I'm waiting with anticipation for the delivery guys to bring it over, and I'm sure, so is he. :)
